Prior to that\, Todd served as an executive with organizations such as the Brampton Board of Trade\, Chamber Executives of Ontario\, the Toronto Region Board of Trade\; Greater Kitchener Waterloo Chamber of Commerce\; and Huron Chamber of Commerce. \n\n\n\nHighly respected by his peers\, in 2022\, Todd was awarded Chamber Executive of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce Executives of Canada and in 2015\, the James Carnegie Award for leadership and mentorship by Chamber Executives of Ontario. In 2021 he achieved the highest level of Canada's Accredited Chamber Executive program. In 2008\, he obtained the international Certified Chamber Executive designation. Todd has led strategic planning sessions for many local chambers and boards of trade throughout North America and has provided keynote presentations and executive training workshops for chamber executive associations in Atlantic Canada\, British Columbia\, Alberta\, Saskatchewan\, Manitoba\, Ontario\, New York\, the Carolinas and Arkansas. He is the former chair of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce Executives Council (CCEC)\, former commissioner of the Certified Chamber Executive Commission\; and a past director of the American Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE). \n\n\n\nAn active distance runner\, Todd has raced in more than a dozen marathons world-wide.
